Introduction to our philosophy

..Tango... based in a unique and principal technique, the
“Dance between 2 people” through one embrace “the Connection”.. giving  the possibility of expression of one’s own life history. Using the steps and creating a conversation “listening, interpreting and answering” there is freedom in the music called Tango. The mix of two powerful and distinct instruments the bandoneon and the violin…

We believe that Tango is one where there’s the embrace, the connection with the partner and the steps, ”los pasos”.These ingredients give the opportunity to the dancers to create their own style and expression as they evolve and grow in their study. Our teaching system focuses on the technique of the dance, so as to build a solid foundation and provide the tools to the students to create and express themselves, as well as giving ideas of sequences of steps,to embrace a deeper understanding and experience of the authentic Argentine Tango. We believe that this gives the opportunity for a global understanding of this dance form and a deepening of expression through it.

…ultimately there is the Dacing between 2 people…

We start with the basic techniques of body awareness/ awareness of our partner, walking techniques and the embrace. Communication through the embrace and basic improvisation techniques.
Deepening our knowledge about the tools of communicating with our partners and expressing ourselves through Argentine Tango figures (ochos, el gyro, turns, sacada, boleos, colgadas, barridas, paradas, rebounds, etc). Musicality in different aspects of Argentine Tango and introduction to “Milonga”.
Alignment of the body, balance, decorations for men and women. Distinction between different qualities (energy) in Tango and their use.
Deepening of communication and improvisation skills: How to create an active/proactive “conversation” between the partners.

In a friendly, enjoyable and professional space to communicate, we socialize, expand and energize our lives through Argentine Tango!
